Happy Thursday! I hope your springs flowers are blooming! Today I am happy to be outside with the spring blossoms, wearing a red lace dress. This a-line dress is roomy, but not clingy, and the red lace is a romantic, almost valentine's day look. Perhaps I am romancing the spring season, which has proven to be a most unreliable suitor.I chose simple accessories for this dress, as I wanted this lovely lace to stand on its own. The red crocodile bracelet, and black art deco bracelet adds just a dash of detail. Too, the small, a and quiet black bag is there just to keep my little things, and not to cause visual warfare with my LRD.
I do let my RockStud -inspired shoes add a bit of edge to this otherwise demure outfit. These are Lueven Alexander, via Zulily.com., a flash sale sight that I love. I bought these lovely pumps well before I even heard the term "rockstud", now a well know shoe by Valentino. I am happy to be wearing romantic red lace. Normally I would shy away from away it , but this simple A-line suggests a lady like vibe. The dress is by Maggy London and my local tailor did a great job fitting it my size!
It is a perfect day to relax outdoors, and soak in some spring time sun! Even the truck whizzing behind me is charming. I think my red lace dress worked; spring is in her glory today! Ok, I will allow it had nothing to do with my red lace dress, but today is perfect, and I am so very pleased!
