The asian dogwood print has been rendered modern, in an almost architectural floral. The bold lines of the print are softened by the silk charmeuse and dainty ruffles at the sleeves and neckline. I added a vintage necklace.
A closer look at the print by Cynthia Rowley, known for her "carefree, simple spirit and wispy materials."
You may remember my shoes by David Alexander and my box clutch by Badgley Mischka:
This sunny day cast some formidable shadows. I hope they don't obscure the lovely asian dogwood print or the almost fluid flow of the silk.
I love asian dogwood florals, especially in decor: they look so fresh and lively , especially when they are in bright colors, which is often the case. I love them combined with blacks, reds, and lacquered woods and surrounded by Modern Art.
I hope you week is off to a wonderful start! XX, Elle
