Happy Friday! I am so pleased the weekend is here! Today's outfit features a Louis Vuitton peasant top, (sounds incongruous, right?) black jeggings, and a furry vest. I was warm in this outfit, despite a cold temperature!
I was thrilled to find this Louis Vuitton peasant blouse in wool and velvet last month. I loved the contrast of textures, and the quality of the fabrics that LV is known for. I was pleased that it fit just right, too. This was simple to style with black jeggings by Marcus Blaque and a simple wood linked necklace.
I also styled this with a Jennifer Miller cuff, that was a gift from a dear friend, and a unique bag from Iris Lane.. This little bag is adorned with an equine figure in handmade stones and gold tone brass, I believe it is one of a kind. That is why I am sharing the link. You can see the bag below.
Here is another photo, in a color scheme that I wish this Louis Vuitton peasant blouse came in! I am partial to blues and greens, but honestly the neutrals are more versatile.
I love when at outfit is so versatile it can take you anywhere. This is the case with this outfit which offers comfort, warmth and a touch of luxe. My boots are very fine patent leather that look polished yet can stand up to winter snow. The heel is a comfortable size to walk in- in other words, it is a true Manhattan walking boot! The were crafted in Italy by Isabelle Paris, and were found on Ebay. While a tad pricey, even on Ebay, they are well worth it, and will last for years.
My fox fur vest came from STA, 1318 Madison Avenue, but a faux-fur one, much like it, is available here. This style choice is a great way to be warm!
My last photo is in Black and white. I love to show an outfit with different filters, it really aids the eye to see something in the best perspective. Here, the Louis Vuitton peasant top looks tonal, and the vest looks mostly inky black.
I want to thank Erika Arias for styling assistance and photos, and a big thanks too, to Aracely Garcia for a transforming make-up application and hair styling! YOU TWO rock! Plus we had fun!
Are you staying warm enough? I hope so! It has been so cold here. My next post will definitely be an outfit from Sunny California! Happy weekend loves!
