Happy Mid-Week Lovelies! I sure hope today is a good day for you. I am featuring the outfit that I wore in my most recent post, only it is the inside version. Here is another look at my fringed skirt!
It was wonderful to be inside, I must say, for a photo shoot! I am glad that you can see some of the details here. Also, you can see my bow blouse by F21. The Brunello Cucinelli belt is easier seen here, too. I do like being home, and am inviting you in my sitting area!
You may recall that we moved in a year ago. I furnished our co-op in 2 short months! My fringed skirt looks peachier inside. I have light coming from many sources, maybe that is why. This outfit is much simpler, and lighter; the only texture from the fringed skirt and patterned shoe. You can also see some of my lightning-fast decorating, too!
In some of the photos you can see a painting that I painted a few years back. You will also see a yellow mirror that adds a pop of color to this room. I bought it from lstdibs.com. This cold winter, I sure am happy to have it!
In the next shot you can see my jewelry better. I am wearing four rings! The one on my pinky is costume! The two-toned gold ring is from the Real Real. I recommend them for authentic luxury items.
I love an opportunity to see glimpses of the homes of my blogger friends, when that opportunity arises. With the weather being so cold, you will definitely see more inside shots! I think my decorating style is very similar to my fashion sense; eclectic in every sense of the word!
In the above photo you might be able to see a well-stocked bar! I only drink a few ounces of wine a week, but I do have plenty for my friends when they stop by! The bottle stoppers, shaped like rosebuds, came from a lovely shop across the street when I live. If anyone expresses interest I would be happy to do a short decorating post, and share my resources.
In the meantime, I do hope that you are enjoying this week! Once a week when I take my chemotherapy drug for my auto immune disease, I get tired and then enjoy creating something. Thus I will close this little post with a cartoonish image taken from the yellow mirror- my back to the bar ware...how true it is! Sigh...
How have you adopted the fringe trend? It is a hard one to pass completely; I know I had several items in my closet well before I knew of this trend, and I bet that is quite common. I will say I like this trend when only one item from an outfit is fringed. Otherwise, it can read too busy for me. That from a lady who loves pattern and texture! So, what is your take?
May your week find some sunny moments!
Again, thank you to Aracely And Erika! :)
