It is impossible to be mopey today! The straw fedora is keeping my face from the sun, by my eyes see the light! My sleeveless lace tee is transparent, but with a thick nude cami, it is perfect for anything. It is Stella McCartney, The pockets are lace trimmed hearts. Happy tee!
I wanted a white lace skirt, but nothing was available in my size, anywhere, in white. So I found this at Bloomies, across the street, and was dubious about the color. I don't wear neon, but maybe a neon lace skirt would work, since it is lined in white, and therefore reads POP. and not Neon! I Hope...My darling and comfy python, kitten heels are by Christian Louboutin, and were thrifted in Long Island! My denim Fendi bag was an easy choice for this, a soft cornflower- blue to soften the neon tone, and it also introduces one of my favorite color combos: blue and yellow! I found it at Michael's Consignment Store in Madison Avenue.
It was 72, sunny, and a soft wind was blowing. It was a perfect day to sit outdoors.
Here is a close-up of the neon lace skirt and a better look, too, of the silk Stella tee:
So ladies, how do you feel about neon? Probably as I do; sort of on the fence, or maybe you are on the distinct side of HATING IT! That said, I am glad I ended up with this neon lace skirt, it does feel subdued by the white lining, and looks great with white! I brought it with me to East Hampton and will wear it with a simple white tee and white sandals, and a gorgeous necklace, that I chose to compliment the yellow. It looks great with a denim jacket too! So, in the end, this was a great buy for me!

Now your turn. Neon, anyone ?
