Outside in white eyelet, I am wearing my LWD with a tunic. The extra layer is good because it is lightweight, and adds a bit of warmth when the sun retreats to the clouds. I like the white on white look: summer is here!
My white eyelet dress is lined in a pale chambray color, giving it a bit of contrast. I love the mix of textures with the tunic added. The sheath is comfortable as it is a bit loose on me. It is older, from F21, and the tunic is older too, from Calypso two years back. A similar tunic can be found here.
The key to the perfect LWD is versatility. A good LWD should be comfortable, a length that is appropriate for both street and beach - mine just barely makes that first rule, and should not be sheer. Here is one that I like with a racer back.
When wearing white on white, it is such fun to accessorize. I added my sea foam green clutch in python, that I bought from Michael's Consignment store. I love that it closes with rose quartz gems, that matches the stone in the ring I bought in Mexico!
Summer is an easy time. Toss on layers of white and you are good to go! I added two skinny scarves to my ponytail. More shots of my look:
My shoes are incredibly comfortable! Made for dancing in Italy, they are by Dance Naturals. I got them at a thrift store that supports cancer research. I love the sweet rhinestone details that look like jewels for my feet.
Tell me ladies: do you have the perfect LWD? Do you agree that white on white is effortless, and easy- and fun!- to accesorize?
Have a wonderful Saturday night! I will close with my darker, more artistic version of the "white on white" look, Ha!
