Officially it is still summer, and many glorious days are still head of us. Still it is hard not to be nostalgic after Labor Day, the days are shorter, and summer is vanishing. Ah, summer; care free days and sunshine, long walk-on the beach.
It seems universal that this is a hectic time. Students return to school after lazy absences ( hopefully), schedules become more rigorous, and the days- oh those sun kissed summer days- just keep getting shorter. We are reminded of 9-11, and tragic news speaks loudly and insistently on our screens. Real life is tough. It seemed softer at the beach, where the rolling waves was all the noise one heard.
Now that I am back in Manhattan, I am feeling the pinch of busyness. New York Fashion Week Craziness is upon us, even for a newer blogger like me. The city is busier, from Fashion Week, and there is a nice buzz in the air. Excitement for pursuits of all kinds , and new designs to appreciate in real time.
I commiserate with seasoned fashion professionals at this time; New York Fashion Week is a truly daunting for them. But I truly enjoyed a few events, just the right amount for me. I will share some NYFW events with you very soon. A Picture Prequel: Two right photos , in the collage, courtesy of Runway by Norman Ding For Malan Breton, an amazing show!
For those of you who are here covering events, did you also experience New York Fashion Week Craziness? I hope you were able to enjoy some down time and visit the sights and enjoy some great food ( and shopping !!) Here on MDC there will be some #NYFW coverage soon, and then some outfits posts. Stay tuned, and stay well!!
