Hello Dear Friends! I am in the midst of a move, but all is well. Today, I wore a broken stripe skirt and a hydrangea print blouse from STA. I love the hydrangea print in the jeweled tones, and the silky fabric that gives this print life!
It was pure sunshine today, and so was my mood. At least for a bit. Did I tell you I hate moving!
It was easy to choose what to wear today. I have been waiting to wear this hydrangea print blouse from J.Crew! It was also a day for heels!
I love to wear my hair in a pony tail, it has been my hairstyle for decades. ( Five if you are counting.) This necklace was a find from a Madison Avenue boutique last year, it is enamel and tortoise links, and it was on sale! My old sunnies are Dior, and were very much-needed today!
I do miss my seeing real hydrangeas in bloom, but will settle for some lavender ones in a white porcelain vase, and this hydrangea print in my closet! I am picking up some food at nearby Balducci's , which is a fab place for foodies, and lazy bones like me. Then I am meeting my hubby and children, okay, adult children, on the rooftop terrace for dinner. My daughter is bringing the wine! So it is no wonder, I am having a good day.
My resin cuff bracelet is in a bold coal color and adds a tiny bit of edge. It came from the costume jewelry district last year. My skirt is from Barney's , and was purchased years ago. It is stripes of appliqued stripes and solids, and is a good crisp poplin. It also looks great with a simple white shirt, but today was a day for flowers!
I hope your week is off to a good start! I am looking forward to catching up on reading my favorite blogs!
