Hello lovelies; Live from snowy New York! I am posting a look indoors today! I feature my white biker jacket that you saw paired recently with a Chanel skirt. Today I am wearing it with flared denim jeans and a simple color blocked pump.
I am using some filters so that the photos show less of the interior of my home. I am hoping to emphasize what I am wearing. As you can see this is a super simple outfit, indigo flared jeans from American Eagle ( via TJ Maxx!) and bi color pumps from Coccinelle, via STA on Madison Avenue. A plain white tank was all that I wore underneath, so this would be a sleek and fitted look, emphasizing the clean line of the flared jeans.
Another similar shot with a better shot of my hair, styled up and twisted, so that the details of the jacket could be seen.
As mentioned in an earlier this biker jacket is a children's piece, and has the perforation detail that I love. I wore no necklaces or scarves with this. I did not want to hide the zippers or add any more details or textures. Here are more photos of the white biker jacket.
Here is a shot of the back of the jacket and a better view of my hair style done by Aracely Garcia of the Ayervais Salon on East 57th Street. She is doing my hair for most of my posts going forward! I am so grateful to her talent!
I added the color block pump for some detail. It is separated visually from the jacket, which is what I wanted, but adds detail to the overall outfit. Here is a photo of the shoe and the bottom of the flared jeans.
This shoe is no longer available, but any graphic shoe or color blocked shoe would add nice detail. Even a shoe with chain detail would be lovely. Here is a color block, pointed toe pump that would also work well.
I am not wearing a bag here, but I would have chosen my hair calf and python trimmed kelly style bag in a coordinating deep red. Here is a photo of it.
This kelly style bag from Finesee, Le modal ,from a previous post ,would also look nice, and may be a better choice from the coming spring. For spring I would also trade in the pumps for a sandal. The bag from the post titled White Eyelet, Red Leather Valentine:
I was lucky to find this perforated, white biker jacket near me. It is by kcparker, a children's maker, and can be found at Saks. The link is in the previous post, and a size large can fit a size 2 or 4.
I am having fun with different denim silhouettes this season. You will see more varieties on me later. Still loving my skinnies, though. Now how about you: what denim pieces are your favorite this season? What color is your biker jacket? Have you considered white, or a texture? Let me know in the comments section, and have a great day!
Thanks to Aracely Garcia for hair and make up, and to Erika Arias for photo help!
